The enhancements get the car to 60 mph in 6.2 seconds (6.5 for the four-door Clubman), and make a top speed of 148 mph. Electric steering is quick and direct; the rack teams with the shifter for short throws , allowing for seamless snicks into each gear. The throaty exhaust sounds great while downshifting on corners, much like the race-bred Minis in the 1960s.
